The New Students Orientation Program aims to smooth the student’s transition from school to university and bring him/her  into adequate partaking in academic and campus life at HCU.

The Program consists of a welcome assembly followed by orientation sessions delivered by faculty and staff. In those sessions, new students will receive information about HCU’s academic rules and regulations, registration, IT and learning support services, COOP education, financial support, student life, and general campus facilities. 

A full campus exploration tour will then introduce the student to the HCU setting: facilities, buildings, and the location of colleges, offices, and departments. Students will also attend mini orientation sessions in the Library, Computer Labs, and Major-Specific Engineering Labs to learn more about how to access and make use of those learning support facilities.
