Lebanese students can benefit from the National Security and Social Fund (NSSF). HCU registers all Lebanese non-beneficiaries at the Chehim NSSF branch.  Students are expected to pay an annual NSSF registration fee of 150,000L.L. during the fall semester.  Once registered, students are given the NSSF white card, which is the official document identifying its holder as a beneficiary of the program.  Students are responsible for personally renewing their NSSF subscriptions in January of every year.

Students who desire to transfer this registration to another NSSF branch in the area of their permanent residence are expected to seek approval by submitting, in person, the following documents to the Bir Hassan branch in Beirut:

• An official residence statement issued by the Mukhtar of her/his area.
• A copy of the NSSF white card.

HCU offers its students free medical insurance against all accidents taking place on HCU campus or during any HCU related activity.  The accident should be reported immediately and without delay to the administration office. Proper measures will be taken to ensure student safety including transfer of the student to the nearest convenient hospital.
